Privacy policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains what personal data mezeroai, Corp. (“Mezero”, “we”) collects, what we use it for, who we share it with and what you can do about it.
It covers mezero.ai, Mezero Intelligence (at intelligence.mezero.ai and in the iPhone and Android app) and Mezero's other products: POS, Reservations, Self-Service and Creative.
1. What we collect
We collect what you give us, what is generated as you use Mezero, and what reaches us from the services you connect:
- Your account: name, email, profile photo and how you sign in (a hashed password, or your Google, Microsoft or Apple account). If you sign in with Apple and hide your email, we receive the relay address Apple gives you.
- Your organization: your business's name and details, and the people you invite with their role.
- What you share with your agent: messages, voice notes and their transcript, photos, videos and documents, and what you tell it about your business (including your onboarding answers).
- What your agent produces: replies, reports, the images and videos it generates, and the tasks you schedule.
- The apps and networks you connect: access to those accounts and the information the agent reads or posts there to do what you ask.
- Payments: your plan, your invoices and the status of your payments. Stripe handles your card details; we do not store them.
- Forms on mezero.ai (waitlist, invitations and sign-up): name, email, phone or WhatsApp, business name and type and what you tell us, plus your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (city, region and country).
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, and usage and error logs.
- App usage: the screens you open, what you tap, actions such as sending a message or connecting an app, errors and recordings of your sessions. A recording replays what is on the screen (for example, your conversations and photos), with the fields you type in hidden, such as passwords or the message you are writing.
- Your business's customers: if you use Reservations, Self-Service or the POS, we process your customers' data (for example name, phone, orders or bookings) on behalf of your business. See section 8.
The app does not use your location, shows no ads and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
2. What we use it for
- Providing the service: so your agent understands what you ask, replies, works with your apps and keeps your history.
- Creating and protecting your account, and preventing fraud and abuse.
- Billing your plan and credits.
- Answering your support requests and telling you about important changes to the service.
- Reviewing errors, understanding how the app is used and improving how Mezero works.
- Handling your waitlist or invitation request.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We do not use your content to train Mezero's artificial intelligence models.
3. Third-party artificial intelligence
Your agent runs on artificial intelligence models from other companies. For it to understand you and reply, we send them what you share with it: your messages, the transcript of your voice notes, your photos, videos and files, what you tell it about your business and what it reads from the apps you connect.
We send it only to do what you ask your agent, through each provider's business service (API), which processes it under its own terms. Today we use:
- Language models, through OpenRouter, from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Google.
- Voice note transcription with ElevenLabs.
- Specialized image and video generation providers, when you ask your agent to create them.
In the app we ask for your permission before anything is sent to these services. You can withdraw it in More → Privacy; without it your agent cannot work.
Artificial intelligence can make mistakes. Check its answers before relying on them for important decisions.
4. Who we share it with
We only share data to run Mezero, with companies that work on our behalf:
- Infrastructure and storage: Amazon Web Services, Convex and Vercel.
- Sign-in: Clerk, and Google, Microsoft or Apple if you sign in with them.
- Payments: Stripe.
- Service emails: Resend.
- App analytics, session recording and error reports: PostHog, with access restricted to our team.
- The artificial intelligence providers in section 3.
- The apps, social networks and channels you connect (for example Instagram, Facebook, Telegram or your email), through services that manage those connections securely.
- The people in your organization: what you share with an organization's agent can be seen by its members.
We may also share data when the law requires it, to protect our rights or other people's, or if Mezero is merged or sold. In that case this policy will keep applying to your data.
5. Where it is stored
Mezero operates mainly in the United States. Your data is stored and processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. When it leaves your country, we protect it with those providers' contractual commitments and with the measures in this policy.
6. How long we keep it
- Your account: for as long as it exists. When you delete it, we immediately remove your profile (name, email, photo and sign-in methods) and end your sessions.
- Your organization's data (conversations, files, the agent's memory and connections): for as long as the organization has a Mezero account, even if you leave it. If its plan is cancelled, the agent stops when the paid period ends and we keep its data so it can come back. If you want us to delete it sooner, write to us and we will do so within 30 days.
- Invoices and payment records: as long as the law requires.
- Waitlist and invitation requests: while we need them to handle your request, or less if you ask us to delete them.
- Technical and error logs: as long as needed to keep the service secure.
- App session recordings: deleted after 30 days.
7. Deleting your account and your other rights
You can delete your account in the app, under More → Privacy → Delete my account, or by writing to us. Before deleting it, the app asks you to settle what you would leave behind: make someone else an admin if your organization has other members, or cancel the plan if you were the only person in it.
If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove Mezero from your Apple ID in your iPhone's settings (Apple explains how at support.apple.com/102571).
Depending on the law that applies to you (for example Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, the GDPR in Europe or California's privacy laws), you can also:
- Find out what data we have about you and ask for a copy.
- Correct it if it is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Object to certain uses or ask us to restrict them.
- Withdraw your permission to send your data to artificial intelligence.
To exercise these rights, write to legal@mezero.ai. We reply within 20 business days and will ask for what we need to confirm it is you.
8. Your business's customers' data
When your business uses Mezero with its own customers, your business decides what data is collected and why, and is responsible for informing them. Mezero processes that data on your business's behalf and only to provide the service.
If you are a customer of a business that uses Mezero and want to exercise your rights, contact that business; we will help it answer you.
9. Security
- Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) and is stored encrypted with our providers.
- Your files are private: they open through signed links that expire within minutes. Share links you create expire after 7 days.
- On your phone, your session is kept in the system's secure storage.
- Only the people on our team who need it for their work can access the data.
No system is infallible. If an incident affects your data, we will notify you as the law requires.
10. Cookies and analytics
mezero.ai uses Google Tag Manager to measure visits and learn which pages work. intelligence.mezero.ai uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
The app uses PostHog to measure how it is used (screens, taps and actions), record sessions and receive error reports, with an identifier that belongs to Mezero alone. We use it to understand and improve the app, not for advertising or to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser; if you block the session ones, you will not be able to sign in.
11. Minors
Mezero is a service for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we learn we did, we delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date. If the change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. If what we send to artificial intelligence changes, the app will ask for your permission again.
